Product Description

A Unique blend of 100% Arabica beans that delivers the smooth, delicious flavor that has made Dunkin Donuts America's favorite coffee

I love dunkin donuts coffee, drink it at least a few times a week, and we have a k cup brewer at work that I use all the time as well. I was excited to hear about dunkin k cups. Yes, they are expensive, but that part didn't bother me. If they truly tasted the same (or similar) it would still be cheaper to buy the k cups than to buy it at the store.

BUT, they do not taste the same. Honestly, really not even similar. The roast on the k cup is much darker to the point of not even resmebling dunkin coffee (and I'm talking about the original blend). They taste like a lot of other k cups, and do not have the unique dunkin flavor. All you fellow DD lovers are free to try a box, but I wanted to warn you ahead of time. If no one told you it was a DD k cup, and it was just a cup of coffee, you would say it's good, but there is no way you would liken it to DD. I'm sure a lot of sheeple will dispute my claims, pay a premium for these, swear it's identical to DD coffee and that they are the best, blah blah blah, and that's fine, I hope those people are happy, but it's just not the truth. If you want to pay more than you need to in order to get a good cup of coffee from your keurig, that's fine, these will fit the bill nicely, just don't assume it's going to be comparable to a fresh cup of DD coffee from your local chain.

Now, is it a good k cup for what it is? Yes. In comparison to other k cups available, it's quite good, actually. I would continue to drink it, but not at the premium price. This review is 2 stars. Not because it is a bad cup of coffee overall, and not because the price is high, but because it claims to be dunkin donuts coffee, and does not taste like dunkin donuts coffee. They could charge a premium like they are if it did, but it doesn't, so I can't justify giving them any more than 2 stars.
